Mathematics Foundations:  A Pathways Approach to Co-requisite Mathematics

This presentation is designed to share with the audience New River Community and Technical College’s approach to Mathematics Foundation based on national trends and state mandates. The presenters will cover curriculum design, placement scores, course content outline and the Transformation of Developmental Education/Developmental Mathematics proposal. The pathways approach was implemented in two stages with approval by the Curriculum Committee and the Faculty Senate.  Success of the program will also be shared during this Session.
