Q. What is the official date of the WV / OH / KY - City and County Cybersecurity Partnering Workshop?
A. The official workshop date is Tuesday, October 29, 20199:30am – 4:00pm.

 

Q. Where is the WV / OH / KY - City and County CyberSecurity Partnering Workshop located?
A. Brad D. Smith Foundation Hall will be the workshop venue. It is located at 519 John Marshall Drive - Huntington, WV 25703.

 

Q. May I use my mobile phone during the workshop?
A. As a courtesy to presenters and other attendees, we ask that you kindly turn off your mobile phones or set them to vibrate during sessions and speaker presentations. Please quietly exit the room to attend to important phone calls.

 

Q. Are there places to charge mobile device?
A. Charging stations will be set around the workshop room. You will need to provide the cable compatible to your device. Please remember to take your device and cable when done charging it.

 

Q. Will my photo be taken during the conference?
A. Photographs will be taken during the workshop to be used as promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or other media. By participating in this workshop, you grant the workshop the right to use your name and photograph for such purposes.

 

Q. Are there accommodations for people with disabilities and those requiring special assistance?

Q. What is included in my full workshop registration?
A. Full registration for the CyberSecurity Workshop includes:
  • All sessions
  • Complimentary lunch
  • Tuesday morning / afternoon break

 

Q. What is the registration fee?
A. The cost for an attendee is FREE. But registration is required.

 

Q. How do I modify my registration (e.g., edit my name or substitute attendee)?

Q. I need a hardcopy proof of attendance. Who should I contact?

Q. Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I cannot attend?
A. To make a substitution, email ksaffron@mail.wvnet.edu. This will simplify the transfer process and expedite registration.

 

Q. Can I register on site?
A. On-site registration is available beginning at 8:30 am on Tuesday, October 29th.

 

Q. How do I modify or cancel my hotel reservation?
A. You are responsible for modifying/cancelling your hotel reservation by calling the hotel directly.

 

Q. Where is the location of the Lost and Found?
A. Please check with the registration desk.

 

Q: Can I use my own Wi-Fi?
A: We ask that you turn your Wi-Fi off to reduce interference with our Wi-Fi service.

 

Q. Do I need to carry my badge with me during the conference?
A. Yes. It’s helpful with letting others know who you are and which agency you are associated with.

 

Q: Is there a fee to park at Brad D. Smith Foundation Hall during the workshop?
A: There are 2 options for parking:
  • The Brad D. Smith Foundation Hall has its own parking lot adjacent to the building. All spots are FREE and are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Additional parking is also available behind and to the side of the Brad D. Smith Foundation Hall. The cost is $.50 / hour per car – CASH ONLY.
  • Please DO NOT PARK in any lot that is marked as permit only. Marshall will ticket.
*Handicapped parking is available in front and to the side of the Brad D. Smith Foundation Hall. All spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
